We have told this story before.

In games, in novels and on the screen, we have imagined the moment we build something greater than ourselves and lose our hold on it. For decades, it was fiction.

It is no longer fiction. We are racing toward the most advanced technology ever made, and no common structure yet governs it.

Forerunner Labs was founded on that realization by a creative pastor from the Midwest, someone who has spent a life thinking about stewardship, consequence and what we owe those who come after us. He is joined by advisors who have led at Docker, WeWork and OpenAI.

Together, we are building governance and accountability for AI: a foundation that holds both the AI and those who deploy it to account.
